PHENOLIC FOAM is a lightweight, easy-to-handle, ideal for a variety of uses in insulation across a range of applications. It can be cut and shaped to any size with hands. It is a rigid Cellular Foam with a closed cell structure with lower K value (low thermal conductivity). It is odorless, rodent/ insect-proof and also resists fungal and bacterial growth. Its service temperature ranges from Minus196 Deg. C to + 130 Deg. C, which is good for a certain extent of heat insulation and is good for chilled water, Pipe and Duct insulation. Unfaced and Aluminum Facing options are available; density ranges from 35 Kg. – 120 Kg. /Cu depending upon its application. PHENOLIC MINING FOAM The mixing of resin and a catalyst @ 4:1 ratio on reaction leads to rapid expansion of the product to 30-40 times its volume and, in a few minutes, it becomes hard.
