Calcium Silicate is a compound that is prepared by the reaction of Calcium Oxide and Silica. CALCIUM SILICATE BLOCKS, BOARDS AND PIPE COVERS are made out of Calcium Silicate. It is a safe alternative to asbestos for high-temperature insulation applications and as industrial pipe insulation. Pipe cover length is generally 1000mm, 50mm – 200/ 250mm in thickness. Light weight yet rigid, durable, re-usable, fire resistant, high mechanical strength are features of the Calcium silicate. Calcium Silicate boards are used as walls (internal and external) and ceiling. Also as a fire protection solution, in decorative applications, and an underlay board for floor and tiling. Thickness range is 6mm – 18mm , size 4’ x 8’ (1220mmx 2440mm).
