Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF).

Because of its better density than plywood, MDF is considered as a building material for a variety of applications, viz. Furniture (Modern/ Stylish furniture, Kitchen furniture), Decoration (Decoration Materials, Storage containers and Storage cabinets), Door, Flooring etc. Regular Type, MR (Moisture Rated) and FR (Fire Rated) MDF Boards are offered. Advantages of MDF: (a) Smooth and uniform surface (b) It does not have any grain, and can be finished by applying paint on it. ( c ) High bending strength (d) Strong shock resistance (e) Easy to work by carpenters. It can be molded easily. (f) Tight construction and high strength. (g) Not rotten or decay (h) Low formaldehyde emission. (i) Has heat and acoustic insulation properties to some extent. Thickness Range : 2mm - 25mm. Std.
