EPS Sandwich Panel

EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) core sandwich panels are composite building materials (Hi Rib panels which are for roofing and Low/Micro Rib panels for walls/Ceiling). EPS is sandwiched between two metal or other compatible sheets. The density of the EPS for making these panels is generally not less than 16 Kg. /Cu.m. PE (Polyester) Pre-Painted/Coated Galvanized Steel, Aluzinc on both sides. PPGI skin is widely used. To economize one side, Aluminum Foil can also be laminated. The EPS panels are for easy, quicker installation, like roof and side cladding. These are ideal for the construction of a variety of buildings where thermal insulation is required. The panels are used for the construction of cold rooms, processing halls, cleanrooms, pack houses, pre-fab shelters, Information Kiosks, low-cost housing, etc. and also for several architectural applications. It has become a popular choice for many architects and builders. ADVANTAGES OF EPS SANDWICH PANELS: • Lightweight, easy to transport and handle, yet structurally rigid. • Self-Fire Extinguishing/ Fire retardant- if suitable, eps, raw material is used as core. • Good heat insulation / resistance to heat transfer. • Economizes construction costs, saves on energy. • In Continuous line manufacture, long panels are provided. Less the joints, the more the performance. • Environmentally friendly. • Available in various thicknesses and lengths as per customer requirement and project demand. • Lightweight panel which is easy to lift and erect at any height. • Walls of different heights, yet sturdy and strong construction • Modular in nature and pre-engineered, this makes construction simpler and faster. EPS panels are offered generally as per project requirement (made to measure), hence wastage can be avoided and can incorporate doors and windows suitably. Because these are light-weight panels, easy transportation and fast erection reduce the time period of the project. Also, reduced labor, less materials and inexpensive construction equipment helps to reduce cost. Maintenance costs are also minimal and sometimes eliminated because of pre-color coated GI sheet lamination. Earth-quake-resistant buildings are also designed where these panels are specified because of their features.
